We service the Columbia areas, including but not limited to Irmo, Ballentine, Chapin, Lexington, NE Columbia, Blythewood, Elgin and more, We also list and sell investment property.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
We moved over 15 times during our first 23 marriage. Every broker asked me to come and work for them. I learned a lot during this time. After living all over the world and traveling to different continents we selected Columbia and Lake Murray as our permanent home when we relocated here in 1991. My husband Peter is now a retired hotel executive. We have been a buyer and seller many times and wanted to provide a service that would be different to people on the move than what I experienced over the years. Every place we moved to the real estate firms always tried to get me to work for them. My daughter and partner Kirstin and I love decorating and provide staging help. Today it is me that assists you as she has lived in her house in mold and did not know it. When she finally was awake enough to ordered a test they also found a slow Carbon Monoxide leak from a missing vent pipe to their GAS Hot Water heater. This all happened over 7 years and made her very sick. Medicine is a cold money business and not about patient care. It is difficult to get a doctor that still practices medicine we found out in our non-stop search for an "old fashioned" doctor that still believes in "First Do NO Harm". Unless you have an emergency, told to our faces, they can't do anything, sadly. A doctor said: "Unless you have a stroke, heart attack and your low blood tests levels go low below low I can't help you." true experience for us. My daughter deserves better.
For now it is my goal to list to sell your home and help you find a new home. Market has changed and my listings have sold in 1/2 to a 1 day! Multiple Offers. How do you differentiate yourself from other businesses in your category and area?
Clients say many times" You love what you do and it shows". I do love what I do and love assisting people find the right home and community. It takes commitment, dedication, knowledge of the area and schools and listening to your needs and wants. It takes hard work, many hours of searching, scheduling, inspections and much more. I am available all the way through closing and beyond guiding clients from the start to closing and more. I can help with a relocation to another state. Because of the difficulties with loans since 2008 we highly recommend to start with a pre-approval letter because we will need it for the offer. We also find out how much the bank is willing to lend you to purchase your new home. Then we start to look. It can be very disappointing to do it any other way because it is difficult to find a house at a lower price if you fell in love with one at a price you can't get approved for. We are patient and explain the buying and selling process so you can make an educated decision. We go above and beyond the call of duty and our clients confirm that. We have continued our education every year and we have been awarded professional designations by the National Association of REALTORS NAR. We were Members of NAR and the local board REALTORS until 2022 when I changed that, I am now a Real Estate Agents with valuable experience.

How many locations do you have and do you have plans to expand?
My Broker in Charge has 1 office location. With today's technology it is easy to get to any Columbia Location. Times have changed and we always have tried to be up-to-date with the latest technology but never forget our client behind each transaction.
We have access to any home on the market regardless of the listing agent and company including NEW HOMES or assist with building one. We also show For Sale By Owners and represent you.
