How long have you been in business?
I have been practicing in massage therapy for approximately 2 years, but have been in business for myself since October 2009.
What is your primary product or service?
My practice is focused on providing professional therapeutic massage and/or bodywork that is specifically tailored to the needs of my clients. I have specialized training in Myofascial Release, Medical Massage, Therapeutic Deep Tissue, and Prenatal Massage, as well as some additional training in specific sports injuries.
How did you first become interested in your line of business? (if owner) - What is your background? (If owner or store manager)
In 1999, I started volunteering on and off at various physical therapy clinics/offices. This exposure furthered my growing passion for learning the complexities of the human body. Through high school, college, and massage therapy school, I have taken five Human Anatomy/Physiology classes and still feel like there is so much more to learn. The door to go to massage therapy school was opened for me and I ran through it! Every BODY, although made of the same basic parts, responds differently to massage techniques. And each person is dealing with his/her own issues/conditions/disorders. I love applying the different techniques I've learned and trying to find what works best for a particular person. It's challenging, no doubt, but so rewarding to be able to help people all day!

From I-126 into downtown Columbia: Take Elmwood and turn RIGHT on Marion St. Cross through the light at Blanding St and turn LEFT into the parking lot just after the 4-story brick building that says "The Cason Group" (1612 Marion St.) Park in VISITOR PARKING so you don't get towed! Come around the front glass doors and take the elevator up the the 2nd floor and you'll find me there in Suite 201.
What type of payments do you accept?
Right now, just cash or check (established clients only), but I will be accepting Visa/MC very soon.
What are your hours of operation?
Time vary slightly, but I have hours available Mon-Sat. Please call to set up your appointment!
